People keep following me on twitter, and I ask myself; Why…? It started, really, when I got back from Germany and had started following some people on my own.
At first I thought it was bots that wanted to spam me. But no, it’s actually real living people. Sci-fi and fantasy authors, to be specific.
I’m not complaining though. It’s nice to know someone cares to know where I check in using Foursquare, which is basically the only thing I post on there. ;)
I haven’t counted, but I think about 7 or 8 different authors now follow me. It’s probably a PR thing, trying to get me to read their books… What they don’t know is that I already have books to last me a lifetime, and I’m way to skilled in finding new ones for the list to need any help.
Oh well! They’ll just have to deal with check-ins and the occasional update, which will, most probably, be in swedish.
It’s been a long time since I bought a Pullip, and I’ve been admiring some of the newer dolls that have been released. There hasn’t been one good enough for me to open my wallet, though. Until now…
When PullipStyle announced that they’d release an exclusive Pullip, I was immediately interested. When I saw that it was Froggy, now as a full size Pullip, I basically sqeed with delight.
I decided pretty quickly that I wanted her, but had to wait until pre-orders started before I could place my order (obviously). While I waited, I looked around in the webshop for fun, and decided that it might be a good idea to buy another doll at the same time to save on shipping. After all, shipping from USA to Sweden isn’t exactly free. I settled on Dal Ciel, a doll I’ve wanted since (s)he was released.
I will eventually get a male obitstu for him, so he’ll actually be a boy like he’s supposed to be. Since Kurosjitsuji is one of my favourite animes, it’s hard to picture him as a girl. Yes, even though I’ve seen the Robin Ciel …and the Alice one.
These beauties will be coming home in couple of months, if everything goes as it should.
Being the nerd I am, I’ve basically been dying to be in San Diego this weekend. So much fun going on over there and so many people I admire is there.
My twitter feed is overflowing with photos and stories from Comic Con and I just grow even more envious watching and reading them.
So, my parents and I actually had a serious conversation about going. Probably not next year, but 2014 or 2015, who knows. It’s an expensive trip to take, so I’ll need to save up…
I don’t know, maybe it’s just too much work and too much money.
Otherwise, nothing really happens here besides reading and tv watching.. I’ve started with A Storm of Swords, the third book in A Song of Ice and Fire. It’s much more exciting now, since I have no idea what’s going to happen. I read the two first ones after watching the HBO show, so I knew the basic story then. Now, it’s all fresh to me!
I’m also considering a new coverphoto and colour scheme for this blog. I haven’t decided on anything yet, but a have an idea. Let’s just say it’s more nerdy and less girly. ;)
So, I haven’t updated in quite a while. Mostly because there haven’t been anything worth writing about.
I was at a really nice barbecue evening with my friends last week. We had a great time and were as crazy as always. I’m to meet up with some of them tonight at the pub, and we’ll play some Trivia Pursuit
As I’m writing this, I’m rewatching Game of Thrones with my parents. We finished season two recently, and can’t wait for the next one. Though, I do think the books are even better. I’m almost finished with A Clash of Kings, and will start on A Storm of Swords right away.
Now I’ll try to mentally prepare for the upcoming game night. :P
